After I finished the Twilight saga, I thought I would never be able to enjoy another book! That's how much I loved the Twilight series.

However, I decided to read "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer, and I loved it. I still liked Twilight more, but it's hard to compete with something that great. In "The Host," you still get the same romance feeling that you get when reading Twilight, but it doesn't hit til later in the book. It's a great science fiction read that doesn't FEEL like science fiction (which was great for me, because I don't usually like sci-fi).

I also read "The Worthing Saga" by Orson Scott Card after Twilight. It's amazing!

Enjoy =]
References :
I'm a Twilight addict.

If you are compelled by vampires, then I suggest the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice or perhaps the books on which True Blood is based.
References :
How about you read an actual novel instead of teen trash pulp fiction. Those emo vampires in twilight *sparkle* - they're not even vampires sadly - Meyer has no respect for anything that precedes her -

Bram Stoker's "Dracula" novel anyone?

Here's a thought look up the name "Anne Rice" then "The Vampire Chronicles" if vampires are your thing at least their are a couple books are worth reading. After all she was pretty much the FIRST hyped up saga writer.

Alternatively "I Am Legend" (1954) novel by Richard Matheson is a literary classic!

Please I beg you to stem the literary decay of the youth and read something out of the 3-7 age range. PLEASE LOOK AT MY SOURCE LINKS FOR MORE NOVELS.

But if you really must infect your brain with cliched pulp trash of no worth to humanity other than to warm the homeless then:

Vampire Kisses #1, Kissing Coffins #2, Vampireville #3, Dance with a Vampire #4, The Coffin Club #5, Royale Blood #6 by Ellen Schreiber.

Chosen by P.C. Cast (3rd in the house of night series)

The Vampire Diaries: The Struggle (2nd in the Vampire Diaries series)
The Vampire Diaries: The Fury (3rd in the Vampire Diaries series)
The Vampire Diaries: Dark Reunion (4th and last in the Vampire Diaries series)

There are a billion more which begs the question how did Meyer make it - was it the emo vampire wannabes?
References :
http://www.amazon.com/Contemporary-Vampire-Werewolf-Witch-Novel/lm/RKMP2OLUURLLV

First of all, have you gone back to read Midnight Sun which is Twilight in Edward's point of view? Well, it's partially written:

http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/pdf/midnightsun_partial_draft4.pdf

Secondly, if you're into romance, anything by Nicholas Sparks is good for you. You might also like Me and Mr. Darcy, which is a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice. Very cute.

I've heard a lot about the Inkheart series, but haven't read any of them. It sounds like Twilight fans are into those books as well.

Happy reading!! :o)
References :
The Host by Stephenie Meyer

As Twilight is a romance novel at heart, there are also some romantic comedies/tragedies you could try:
P.S. I Love you by Cecilia Ahern
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
Atonement by Ian McEwan
The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Jay Fowler
The Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffeneger
Marley & Me by Josh Grogan
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
Anybody Out There? by Marian Keyes
